WHEN it comes to running a business, the hiring of a new staff member and launching a product are only some of the
areas where Magi Astrology can help.
The inherent success potential for a company can be read in its incorporation chart, which is the "birth chart" of the
company. Product launches or staff additions need to happen on good astrological days that are also in concert with the
incorporation chart.
In the case of appointing a chief executive, that person's natal chart needs to work well with the company chart.
We will soon see how all that failed when IBM appointed Ginni Rometty as chief executive.

IBM and Ginni Rometty
One of the most difficult interaspects in a Magi Astrology synastry chart, called a Combined Alignment Chart, is the
Saturn-Chiron square. It’s called the “heartbreak clash” and it symbolises frustrating (square) difficulties (Saturn) in
earning potential (Chiron). Below is a rendition of the CAC between Ginni Rometty - 29 July 1957 - and the IBM
incorporation chart - 16 July 1911. While there are also positive interaspects between these charts, the reciprocal Saturn-
Chiron square is a cause for concern.
In a love relationship, this configuration
would have been a disaster.
In a business relationship, the configuration
is less severe but a reciprocal restriction
(Saturn) of earning potential, charisma and
public image (Chiron) is not to be trifled with.
The announcement that Rometty would be
chief executive of IBM was made on 26
September 2011.
On that day, the transiting Saturn/Chiron
midpoint was in opposition to IBM's Sun,
Vesta and Pluto. This signalled a business
restriction (Saturn/Chiron) regarding IBM's
big business (Pluto) identity (Sun) and loyalty
(Vesta).
Also on the day of the announcement, the
transiting Saturn and Juno were in square
aspect to IBM's Neptune. This suggests
problematic ambition (Saturn and Juno) and
restriction (Saturn) regarding long-term
viability (Neptune).
Note: on this website we will be looking at specific components that illustrate Magi Astrology concepts. The charts presented here
do not consist of a full analysis. We will also use the term Magi Astrology whenever practical, but even if we use the term
“astrology” for ease of writing, it’s Magi Astrology that is being exclusively referenced here.
